About Us
Hope DAC/ECCO had its beginnings in Ruthon, MN in conjunction with Pipestone County. Originally begun as a place for school age children with disabilities, Hope DAC/ECCO has evolved into a place for adults with varying intellectual and developmental disabilities coming together to build friendships, community skills, and employment opportunities. We moved to Tyler, MN and later opened a satellite center in Tracy, MN. Through the last 50+ years, Hope DAC has had caring staff who have built careers out of working with and encouraging these incredibly special people.
Every day is different, every day is filled with the joy of long friendships, new experiences, and opportunities for continual skill building and connections to their communities. We give back by volunteering for different projects, such as matching shoes up for the Tracy Lions’ Soles for Souls, making cards for our neighbors at the local care centers, and supplying the electricity hook-ups for the rides for Tracy’s Boxcar Days. We currently have approximately 21 staff and 37 individuals served.
